National Cancer Survivors Day is an annual celebration held on the first Sunday in June for those who have defeated cancer and to raise awareness of the ongoing challenges cancer survivors face during and after treatment. The day serves as an opportunity for those living with a history of cancer to connect with each other, celebrate achievements, and recognize those who have supported them along the way.

About the American Cancer Society

american cancer society logo The American Cancer Society is a national health organization dedicated to fighting cancer. All cars donated through the Cars for a Cure® Vehicle Donation Program will help save lives that might otherwise be lost to cancer. Your donation will help fund research, education, advocacy, and services for cancer patients and their families.

What Will Your Car Donation Do?

  • Give up to 24 rides to cancer patients to and from their treatments.
  • Support 24 calls for expert cancer information.
  • Provide up to 40 personalized information kits for newly diagnosed patients.
  • Guide up to 12 women through the challenges of breast cancer by partnering them with a breast cancer survivor.

Donating your car is an easy way to support any organization. Car Donation Wizard will return 75-80% of the gross proceeds from the sale of your vehicle to the American Cancer Society. Celebrate life on this year’s National Cancer Survivors Day by donating your car online or calling us at 888-227-5500.
