This 2005 Acura MDX was donated through the American Cancer Society’s Cars for a Cure program to help fund the fight against cancer.
The donors bought the vehicle when their children were young and have many memories with it. Today, the donors use the train to get around and their children are grown up so they no longer use the car. Before donating, the family washed, drove, and took pictures with the car for the last time. They also had a message for its new owner, “We were sentimental, but we are happy that we are doing something to help other people, and we trust that you, the new owner, will like and have a good time with it. Sincerely, A Family That Took a Journey with the MDX”.
The donors hope that by donating this Acura MDX to the American Cancer Society, they will be funding medical research which will reduce cancer in our society.
