When can I schedule my vehicle to be picked up?

After you submit your car donation, a local towing agent will contact you within 1-3 business days to schedule a pickup time most convenient for you.

What should I expect on the day my car is picked up?

On the day of pick-up, you will sign your vehicle title over to Advanced Remarketing Services. Each state title looks a little different, so please give us a call or look on our website to find a visual guide of your state’s title.

Can I leave my title in the vehicle?

You can mail your title to our processing center at Advanced Remarketing Services. If you want to leave your title in the vehicle, this can be arranged with the tow company when they call to schedule the pick up. Some tow companies allow for the keys and signed title to be left in the vehicle. If you don’t plan on being home when the vehicle is picked up, you’ll want to confirm with the tow company ahead of time that they’ll do an unattended pickup. Visit our website to find state specific instructions on how to properly sign your title. If you can’t find your vehicle title, our state pages will guide you through the forms required to complete your donation. If you have any more title questions, call us at 877-957-2277 or email titles@cardonationwizard.com to speak with a title specialist.

Do the license plates need to be removed before my car is picked up?

After you fill out the donation form, you will be provided with state-specific instructions regarding license plate removal. If you’re unsure whether to remove your license plates, visit our website or give us a call at 877-957-2277.

Do I need to fill out a release of liability form?

Every state is different. It is important to check with your state to know if a release of liability is required. This is an important step, so you are not penalized for anything after your donation. These states REQUIRE a release of liability form: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington.
