At Car Donation Wizard we are amazed by the great car donations that we receive, and we love to share them with our donors. In May we received a 1997 BMW Z3 donated to the ASPCA.This white convertible roadster is the perfect ride for any summer excursion.
The BMW Z3 was released by BMW North America via video press release on June 12, 1995 and was the first new model BMW to be assembled in the United states. The roadster prototype of the Z3 was the first mass-market model assembled in the United States.
This sleek and sporty car should look familiar to James Bond enthusiasts as the Z3 appeared in the film GoldenEye in November of 1995. After an ad campaign for GoldenEye that featured the Z3, the film became a number one hit at the box office and subsequently drove the sales of the vehicle through the roof. More than 15,000 roadsters were sold by the time the car was officially introduced; leaving this particular model sold out before its release date.
Donated to the ASPCA, the proceeds from this vehicle will help save animals from abuse and give homes to those who so desperately need it. The ASPCA was the first organization of its kind in the western hemisphere, and was founded in 1866. The ASPCA runs programs for adoption, to prevent animal cruelty and gives pet care advice to new pet owners. Every car that is donated to the ASPCA helps fund these programs.
