Wildlife Matters
Wildlife matters. Illegal farming via the use of banned pesticides continues to threaten wildlife and natural reserves. Today is World Environment Day and we would like to acknowledge the importance of wildlife and the impact of charities like the Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
World Environment Day has been celebrated since 1974 and calls on governments, businesses, celebrities, and citizens to focus on an important environmental issue. This year’s theme is biodiversity– an urgent concern that, through the recent events of bushfires, locust infestations, and a global pandemic, show the interdependence of humans and the webs of life.
