Boulder Shelter for the Homeless VEHICLE DONATION PROGRAM
The mission of the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless is to create avenues to stable housing for our community's homeless adults, from a foundation of safe and supportive shelter. For more than 35 years, the Shelter has served Boulder County's most vulnerable. Currently, the Boulder Shelter provides year-round, overnight shelter for up to 160 adults experiencing homelessness. In addition, the Shelter provides ongoing support for 75 formally homeless individuals who have moved into permanent housing. The Shelter is part of Homeless Solutions for Boulder County, a public-private partnership of nearly two dozen different agencies, which seeks to move our homeless adults into housing as quickly as possible.
With your donation of a vehicle to the Boulder Shelter, you are helping to wean our community's most vulnerable homeless adults off survival mode and relieving them of the immediate desperation of finding a safe place to sleep; you are ensuring that that they have stable accommodation and meaningful support as a foundation for moving on from their challenges and into a permanent housing solution.
