How do I release the liability of my donated vehicle in Colorado (CO)?

• The state of Colorado DOES require a Certificate of Title in order to transfer ownership of your vehicle.
• In order to complete your Colorado car donation, transfer your title by entering the name of our authorized agent, ADVANCED REMARKETING SERVICES in the buyer/purchaser field. Please PRINT and SIGN your name in the seller/owner field EXACTLY as it appears at the top of the title.
• License plates remain with the donor. You must complete a Report of Release of Liability after the vehicle is picked up. Please see the following link to complete the Release of Liability on the Colorado Department of Revenue website: https://mydmv.colorado.gov/_/#2
• Remember to remove your electronic toll collection system from your vehicle as well as removing the vehicle from the account when the vehicle is picked up.
