How do I release the liability of my donated vehicle in Florida (FL)?

The state of Florida DOES require a Certificate of Title in order to transfer ownership of your vehicle.
In order to complete your Florida car donation, transfer your title by entering the name of our authorized agent, ADVANCED REMARKETING SERVICES in the buyer/purchaser field. Please PRINT and SIGN your name in the seller/owner field EXACTLY as it appears at the top of the title.
Please surrender license plates to your local DMV office. You are required to complete a Notice of Sale after the vehicle is picked up, which must be submitted via mail or in person to your local Tax Collector Field office. The Notice of Sale can be found here: https://www.flhsmv.gov/pdf/forms/82050.pdf
Remember to remove your electronic toll collection system from your vehicle as well as removing the vehicle from the account when the vehicle is picked up.
